What is KPO?

The waste transfer card, abbreviated as KPO, is a document confirming the transfer of medical waste, veterinary waste or other types of waste by their Producer to the waste holder.

The KPO should contain the following information:

- name and address of the waste Producer,

- place of business,

- registration number in the BDO,

- NIP number,

- type of processing to which the waste should be subjected,

- waste code (for medical waste it is group 18 01 ...)

- type of waste,

- date of waste transfer,

- mass of transferred waste in Mg (1 Mg = 1000 kg)

- registration number of the vehicle transporting the waste,

- name and address of the holder transporting the waste,

- name and address of the holder receiving the waste.
