BDO REGISTRATION

The database on products and packaging and on waste management (BDO) is an integrated IT system, created in accordance with the provisions of the Act of 14 December 2012 on waste, which includes the BDO register and modules for recording and reporting.

It enables the maintenance of electronic waste records and the submission of annual reports on waste management.

The BDO register is administered by the Ministry of Climate and Environment and maintained on an ongoing basis by the Marshals of the Voivodeships.

Who is subject to the obligation to register in BDO?

All entities listed in art. 50 sec. 1 and art. 51 sec. 1 of the Act on Waste are required to register in BDO.

The entry of business activity in BDO and the maintenance of the register is the obligation of every entrepreneur whose activity consists in: generating, transporting, collecting or processing waste.

The registration application should be submitted using an electronic form via the website: www.bdo.mos.gov.pl
